Well its over and what a day it turned out to be.  Weather wise it was perfect with a nice sunny warm day with light winds.  We had the cattle penned by 9:30 and that is when the crowd started to arrive.  We fed about 300 for lunch and at sale time our barn was overflowing.

We couldn’t have put on an event like this without the support of our family and friends that have helped us out all week and especially today.  Also our customer base which helped us have an extremely successful 6th Annual sale.  We didn’t sell completely out as the last few years as we did pass one bull, but to sell 30 more bulls than last year was incredible.  Thanks so much.

It was so awesome to be a part of your big day!! It made it real tough for me to head back in to the city and get back in my dress shoes. It was great to be a cowboy for a day.

Thanks for all the help willy. We couldn’t do it without our friends and relatives. Were your customers wondering why you were so bowlegged today?

I would love to see the complete results from your sale. I have been checking your blog often, for the results. I am no longer in the cattle business but am still very interested in most cattle operations, (yours being one of them) and love reading your blog. Thanks

Thanks Dorn I am planning to get full results on here soon as I have done other years. Ian has retired to the oil field so now JL is strictly a family run farm and it has been a bit difficult to keep up with the blogging as well as everything else.
